Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The British Ministry of Defense announced yesterday evening (Tuesday) that the country's army is ready to send military forces with the aim of opening the Strait of Hormuz.
The ministry said in a statement: "As part of the upcoming freedom of navigation mission in the Strait of Hormuz, Britain will send unmanned minesweepers and the latest anti-drone systems, Typhoon fighters and Dragon destroyers."
According to Sputnik, talks on the Strait of Hormuz were held on Tuesday between the heads of military services of more than 40 coalition countries led by Britain and France.
The British Ministry of Defense statement also mentioned that the country will allocate 115 million pounds to assist this naval mission.
