Disruption in Hormuz; World oil reserves are decreasing at an unprecedented rate
The International Energy Agency warned that as the Strait of Hormuz continues to remain closed, world oil reserves are decreasing and being consumed at an unprecedented rate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Reuters, the International Energy Agency announced that since February, the reduction in oil supply has reached 12.8 million barrels per day due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

The agency added: Due to the war in Iran, oil supply will be less than demand in 2026.

The International Energy Agency emphasized: The world is using its oil reserves at an unprecedented rate due to the effects of the war in the region.
Earlier, Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, announced that the war between the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran has created the largest energy crisis in history.

He warned that the International Energy Agency would be prepared to draw more from strategic reserves if oil supply disruptions continued. Member states have so far released about 20 percent of existing reserves, Birol said.
