Tension in the Senate of Pakistan over security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
According to reports, the session of the Senate of Pakistan turned into a scene of verbal conflict over the increase in terrorism in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Senator Attaur Rehman from the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam party strongly criticized the government's indifference and claimed that people's lives have been sacrificed for bureaucracy and the approval of bills.
Rana Sanaullah, a representative of the ruling party, also repeated the previous claims of the country's officials, saying: "8,000 terrorists in Afghanistan are being trained with the financial support of India and the Zionist regime to attack Pakistan." A claim that has always been rejected by the authorities of the Islamic Emirate.
It is worth noting that in the attack on a police station in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan yesterday, at least 15 police officers were killed and four others, including a civilian, were injured.
