Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to RT, Khalid Khayyari, the UN Under-Secretary-General for the Middle East, has emphasized that the Zionist regime has forced more than 40,000 Palestinians to leave camps in the northern West Bank.
He added that the UN continues to document the process of displacement of Palestinians, the demolition of their homes and the expansion of settlements in the West Bank.
Khayyari noted that the UN Secretary-General had previously emphasized that all Israeli settlements in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, lack legal legitimacy and that their construction is a violation of international law.
Regarding the Gaza Strip, he also said that more than 85 percent of the residents of this strip have been displaced as a result of the actions of the Zionist regime, and most of them have experienced displacement several times.
