EU: Attack on Iranian energy facilities will not solve the crisis
The EU foreign policy chief, expressing concern about the escalation of tensions in West Asia and pointing to US threats, stressed that bombing Iranian energy facilities will not be the solution to the crisis.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): EU foreign policy chief Kaya Kalas described the situation in the Middle East as dangerous in a meeting today and said, "We all hope that tensions between the US and Iran will decrease."

Referring to the possibility of renewed US and Israeli attacks on Iran and the aggressors' threat to target Iranian civilian infrastructure, she said, "Bombing energy facilities in Iran will not solve the problem and, on the contrary, may complicate matters."

Kalas also referred to the increase in energy prices caused by the US and Israel's war on Iran and its consequences, but claimed that this issue has not had a significant impact on European countries.

The European official also described Iran’s legitimate defense during the recent war as a threat and claimed that Iran’s missile program is a threat to neighboring countries.

Today, the senior spokesman for the Iranian Armed Forces, General Shekarchi, in response to reporters’ questions about the US President’s repeated threats against Iran, warned that repeating any foolishness to compensate for America’s disgrace in the third imposed war against Iran will only result in receiving more crushing and severe blows.

He added, “The desperate US president should know that if the threats are implemented and Islamic Iran is again attacked, that country’s assets and depleted army will face new, offensive, surprising and stormy scenarios and will sink into a self-made quagmire that is the result of Trump’s adventurous policies.”
