Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: At the inauguration ceremony of this project, Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahid, Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce, described the implementation of this factory as one of the important achievements in the country's industrial sector and said that after the Islamic Emirate regained sovereignty, unprecedented grounds have been provided for investment in Afghanistan.
He added that the leadership of the Islamic Emirate has allocated 100,000 acres of land over the past year to create industrial towns, which, according to him, has been unprecedented in previous decades.
Meanwhile, Mahboobullah Gardizi, a representative of the Rahim Gardizi Group, said that the factory will operate at the national level and that upon its completion, it will provide employment for about 1,000 people directly and for another 10,000 people indirectly.
He also stated that the construction work of the factory will be completed within the next four years and its products will be offered to the market in accordance with high standards and with appropriate quality.
Sheikh Inamullah Salahuddin, Deputy Governor of Logar, also considered the start of this project an important step in strengthening the economic infrastructure of Logar province and the country and asked the company officials to use the workforce of local youth in the construction and operation of this factory.
Similarly, Maulvi Shabir Ahmad Seddiqi, Head of Industry and Commerce of Logar, said that currently, land has been distributed to 84 companies in the Mohammad Agha Industrial Park and practical work is underway in 35 factories.
According to him, another 1,000 acres of land has been allocated for the further development of this industrial park, the process of distributing it to investors will begin soon.
