Martyr Raisi was a source of encouragement for Iran’s friends, including those on the Resistance Front/Today, the burden of Iranian officials is heavier than in the past
In a message on the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, the late President of Iran, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized that the responsibility, youthfulness, justice-oriented, active diplomacy, and especially the people-oriented nature of the martyred President have been a source of encouragement for Iran’s friends, including those on the Resistance Front. Imam Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei then referred to the Iranian nation’s resistance against “two global terrorist armies,” and considered the burden of the country’s management to be heavier than ever, and called the double service and solving the livelihood concerns of the Iranian people a sign of national unity.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, in a message today, Tuesday, on the occasion of commemorating the martyrs of Iran's service, led by martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi, described the martyrdom of these figures as a continuation of the path of the many martyrs who served the Islamic Republic's system; from Morteza Motahari and Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti to Mohammad Ali Rajaei and Mohammad Javad Bahonar, and then the martyrs Raisi, Al-Hashem, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Larijani.
In this message, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution considered the commemoration of the martyrs of Iran's service to be a reminder of "hundreds of prominent and educated figures of the school of the great Khomeini and dear Khamenei" who "decorated the office of sincere and courageous service of the officials of the Islamic Republic with their bloody signatures."
In a part of his message that is significant for international audiences, especially the friends and regional allies of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khamenei listed the outstanding characteristics of Martyr Raisi; “Among the prominent characteristics of Martyr Raisi are responsibility, youthfulness, attention to justice, active and beneficial diplomacy, and especially being a people person.” He then emphasized that “these characteristics encouraged the friends of Iran, including the fighters of the powerful resistance front and many sympathizers of the regime.” The Leader of the Revolution added that all of this was mixed with a spirituality that “had roots deep in his soul.”
Describing Martyr Raisi’s relationship with the Iranian nation, he noted that “in the relationship between officials and the people, positive and influential characteristics lead to mutual appreciation,” and that was why “his elevation to the side of his master and servant, Hazrat Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS), took place with unparalleled splendor.”
He described the unfinished presidency of the martyr Raisi as “a measure of effort and compassion for the nation and the country while preserving its independence.”
This message is being issued at a time when tensions in the region remain high. Referring to this heated atmosphere, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: “Now we are facing the epic deeds of the Iranian nation in a unique historical resistance against two global terrorist armies.” He subsequently warned that this “makes the burden of the officials of the Islamic Republic – from the leadership and the heads of forces to all levels of managers – heavier than in the past.”
In a speech that directly targeted Iran's executive and management apparatus, Imam Khamenei specified the way to express gratitude for this national unity not in slogans but in action: "Thank you for the blessing of the unity of the nation and the government and all the apparatuses of the Islamic Republic, in strengthening the motivation and double and diligent service of the officials, untangling the knots of the people's issues and concerns, especially in the economic and livelihood fields, field and direct presences, and defining a serious role for the people who have been sent on the path of the country's progress and hopeful movement towards a bright future."
At the end of this message, he prayed for divine mercy and satisfaction for the martyrs of the path of service to the Islamic Republic, and expressed hope that divine help and the prayers of Imam Hujat (a.s.) will be the support of those serving the Muslim people of Iran.
This message was published to coincide with the second anniversary of the helicopter crash carrying the martyred and late President of Iran and his accompanying delegation in the Varzaqan region of East Azerbaijan province.
