Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Ministry of National Defense has issued a press release stating that the summit will be attended by senior security and defense officials from a number of countries in the region and the world, and will discuss and exchange views on common security challenges, the security situation in the region, and ways to strengthen mutual cooperation.
According to the ministry, the participation of the high-ranking Afghan delegation in the summit reflects Kabul's efforts to expand regional interactions and participate in discussions related to regional stability and security.
This is while in recent years, the Islamic Emirate has tried to strengthen its political and security relations with regional countries, especially Russia, China, and Central Asian countries, through participation in regional and international meetings. Russia has also emphasized in recent months its continued engagement with Afghanistan and cooperation in the security, economic, and countering common threats sectors.
