Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Islamic resistance movement "Hamas" issued a statement on Wednesday, confirming the martyrdom of Mohammed Odeh and announcing that he was martyred in the Israeli regime's terrorist attack on a building in the "Ramal" neighborhood in western Gaza City, along with his wife and three children.
According to Hamas, Mohammed Odeh was one of the senior commanders of the Qassam Brigades and was considered one of the highest military commanders of Hamas after the martyrdom of "Izz al-Din Haddad", the commander-in-chief of these brigades. In describing Martyr Odeh, the Hamas movement stated that he “joined the caravan of martyrs after a long struggle and a brilliant record of sacrifice that lasted more than three decades.”
The statement emphasized that he was “one of the first pioneers and founders of jihadi and military activities” and that he left a clear role and a lasting impact on all stages of this path, until the battle of “Al-Aqsa Storm,” in the areas of structuring, preparation, planning, and innovation.
Hamas went on to describe this senior commander as a clear example of a commander skilled in planning, directing, and coordinating efforts, adding: “He always worked with wisdom, competence, firmness, and authority, in silence and away from media appearances; while remaining pious, humble, prudent, and honest in the trenches of preparation and planning.” Hamas noted that Martyr Odeh was pursued by the occupying regime for many years until he was finally martyred.

Yemeni Ansarullah's reaction: Assassination of commanders is a sign of the enemy's failure and moral bankruptcy
The political office of the Yemeni "Ansarullah" movement also issued a statement condemning the assassination of Muhammad Odeh and evaluating it within the framework of "Israel's ongoing series of crimes against the Palestinian people." Ansarullah emphasized that this assassination "will not only weaken the will and steadfastness of the mujahideen, but will also increase their cohesion and strength on the path to liberating Jerusalem."
The statement from the Ansarullah political office states: "Targeting the resistance commanders shows the moral and value bankruptcy of the Zionist regime and the United States and indicates their clear failure in achieving their goals." Ansarullah praised Abu Amr's jihadist record and noted that he had an important role and influence in the jihadist and military arenas over three decades of activity.
This Yemeni movement also once again emphasized its solidarity with the Palestinian people and support for their legitimate rights, adding: "The complicity of what is called the international community, as well as the shortcomings of Arab and Islamic governments, does not diminish the legitimacy of the Palestinian issue."
