Oman warns of mines in the Strait of Hormuz

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to CNN, the Oman Maritime Security Center claimed in a message on the X social network, "Following the sighting of a floating object suspected of being a naval mine west of the coastal shipping route in the Strait of Hormuz and in Omani territorial waters, all sailors, fishermen and vessels are requested to use extreme caution in this area."

The center also warned that all maritime users should maintain a safe distance from any suspicious object and immediately report the matter to the competent authorities.
