Mujahid: Military-Technical Agreement with Russia is not against any country
The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate says that the purpose of the military-technical agreement between Afghanistan and Russia is to strengthen the defense capabilities and ensure the security of the country, and this agreement should not cause concern for other countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulvi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate, says that the military-technical agreement signed with Russia is not directed against any country and its purpose is to ensure and protect the security and national interests of Afghanistan.

Republishing the statements of Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Minister of National Defense, Maulvi Mujahid wrote on his page X that this agreement was made within the framework of strengthening defense cooperation and ensuring the security interests of Afghanistan and should not cause concern for other countries.

He added that if other countries also want to sign similar agreements with Afghanistan, the Islamic Emirate is ready to discuss and review such cooperation.

The spokesman for the Islamic Emirate emphasized that any concerns in this regard are unfounded and that Afghanistan pursues a policy of balanced interaction and cooperation with different countries.

Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Minister of National Defense, signed a military-technical agreement with the Russian side on the sidelines of the Moscow International Security Summit.

After returning from Russia, he told reporters at Kabul Airport: “This is a military-technical agreement, and as experts in this field know, it is neither a defense agreement nor a security agreement that should cause anyone concern. This agreement will be solely in line with Afghanistan’s interests.”
