Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Israeli media reports indicate that the threat posed by quadcopters is no longer limited to Lebanon and that after hundreds of quadcopters were spotted in the West Bank, Zionist concerns have increased. The Israeli army has increased its level of preparedness and fears that these quadcopters will reach large settlements and parts of the center of the occupied territories.
The military correspondent for the Hebrew network i24NEWS reported that hundreds of quadcopters have been discovered in the West Bank, and that the threat has become a sensitive issue in the region.
He stated that the Israeli army is increasing its activities in the occupied Palestinian territories, based on estimates that quadcopters launched from the West Bank "could pose a threat to large areas, not only the Zionist settlements of the West Bank, but also parts of central Israel."
He added that quadcopters launched from the West Bank could reach a large number of settlements and that the Israeli army is increasing its level of preparedness to counter this threat.
In this regard, he noted that last Thursday, Israeli soldiers shot at a civilian aircraft near Ramallah, mistaking it for a quadcopter.
He noted that the incident is still under investigation, but it seems, according to what was quoted, “there is a need to organize everything related to low altitudes close to the ground, in preparation for the future war in the West Bank.”
Explosive quadcopters continue to be a major challenge for the occupying regime’s army on the Lebanese front, as there is no effective practical solution to counter these quadcopters, which are launched by the resistance and hit their targets.
In the same context, the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz quoted a source in the occupying regime’s army as saying that “Hezbollah’s use of quadcopters surprised us and we were not prepared for it.”
The source in the occupying army admitted to the newspaper that there was “no effective operational response” against these quadcopters.
