Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to the newsletter of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Investment, the meeting discussed ways to facilitate the transit of goods, improve transportation networks, and create more facilities for Afghan traders and exporters. The two sides also exchanged views on the challenges and problems facing Afghan traders and practical solutions to remove obstacles and accelerate the process of bilateral trade.
In this meeting, the importance of developing transport cooperation and increasing coordination between the responsible institutions of the two countries was emphasized, and the issue of improving railway services and transit of goods was also discussed.
The talks come as Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have made extensive efforts in recent years to strengthen economic ties, increase trade volume, and develop transit corridors. Experts believe that expanding transportation cooperation and removing transit barriers can play an important role in increasing Afghanistan's exports, reducing the cost of transporting goods, and strengthening regional connectivity.
