Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, said in his speech: Despite all the difficulties it faced, the Islamic Revolution of Iran progressed at all levels and supported liberation movements.
He emphasized: The West and America do not want Iran to be a model of perseverance and justice, but they want this country to follow their interests and rebellion. The Lebanese resistance is inspired by the policies and thoughts of Imam Khomeini (RA), but we are fighting for our land and people.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon noted: We thank Iran for helping us restore our rights and land in the face of Israeli and American aggression, despite the great battles it is fighting.
Sheikh Naim Qassem added: The result of the futile, humiliating and shameful direct negotiations on Lebanon is completely unacceptable to the broad masses of the Lebanese people. The Washington declaration outlines the fundamental foundations of surrendering Lebanon to the so-called Greater Israel project. When the fundamental goal of any agreement is to disarm the resistance, it means that this agreement destroys the power of Lebanon and is an existential threat to the genocide of the resistant Lebanese people.
He noted: This declaration is aimed at destroying Lebanon and creating instability in it, as well as creating sedition among the Lebanese people so that Israel can achieve in politics what it did not achieve in war. This is impossible for someone who seeks honor and dignity and protects the blood of the martyrs, the wounded, the prisoners and this great and self-sacrificing nation. The Washington declaration is a roadmap for the genocide of part of the Lebanese people and the enslavement of another part.
Naim Qassem emphasized: Establishing a security process with the slogan of an absurd and illusory ceasefire is the same wish of the devil to go to heaven, we only seek a comprehensive stop to the aggressions and the withdrawal of Israel. The ceasefire must be comprehensive and there should be no difference between southern Lebanon and other regions, and as long as there is occupation, resistance will continue.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon added: We did not promise anyone that we would not confront the aggressions, and as long as the aggressions continue, we will confront them with all our strength. As long as our villages are not secure and are bombed and destroyed and their people are killed, the Zionist settlements will not be safe and they will see our courage and steadfastness. The murderers of the prophets will not see peace in our land, we will fight the aggressors to expel them from our land and stop their aggressions.
The Secretary General of Hezbollah said: The main goal must be Lebanese sovereignty, and the only solution to achieve this is to stop Israeli aggressions against Lebanon. The main goal should be the withdrawal of Zionist forces from Lebanese soil and the deployment of army forces south of the Litani River and the release of prisoners. We do not accept any connection between the existence of resistance and the cessation of aggression and the withdrawal of Israel from Lebanese soil. No one has the right to interfere in the internal affairs of the Lebanese to regulate their political, economic and social life. We want national unity in confronting aggression, and this is power for all of us. He continued: The government must fulfill its responsibility and resolve the internal rift that arose due to its political choices. The government is obliged to create initiatives and dialogues that will lead to the unity of the Lebanese in confronting Israeli aggression. The children of the country must first reach an understanding in confronting aggression, and then we will solve our problems based on the constitution, the Taif Agreement and joint coexistence. We call on the authorities to stop this ridiculous and insulting show that they called direct negotiations. By uniting the entire nation and supporting the sovereignty, we will become stronger, and this will undoubtedly cause the enemy to surrender.
