Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): US Central Command in West Asia did not specify the exact time of the trip in its statement.
The CENTCOM statement said: “During his recent trip to the Middle East, CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper met with senior leaders from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.”
The visit to these four Arab countries took place while tensions in the region continue as a result of the US ceasefire violations and Iran has responded to them.
The US Central Command in West Asia said: “He (CENTCOM Commander) also met with members of the US armed forces who were stationed in the region and praised (these) exceptional forces.”
