Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a statement about developments on the fronts in Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank that Israeli forces have taken control of the Qala Shaqif area in southern Lebanon and have seized an extensive underground network belonging to Hezbollah in this area.
Al Jazeera website wrote: "Emphasizing the continuation of military operations against Hezbollah, he claimed that Israel will not allow this movement to target Israeli areas and settlements and will take action against any threat. Netanyahu also claimed that the Israeli army has killed 350 Hezbollah forces in Lebanon over the past week."
Referring to the Gaza war, the Israeli Prime Minister stated that military operations against Hamas are continuing and that Israeli forces now control more than 50 percent of the Gaza Strip. According to him, this figure will soon reach 70 percent.
