Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Khatam al-Anbiya Base of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued a statement announcing that in response to the US Army’s aggression against areas in the south of the country under the false pretext of a downing of a domestic helicopter, some US bases in the region have been targeted by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement said: “In response to the aggression of the terrorist US army in areas of the south of the country under the false pretext of the downing of its helicopter, some US bases in the region were targeted by a powerful attack by the heroic army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brave men of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.”
The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters also warned that if any aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran is repeated, “more severe and widespread” attacks will be carried out against US targets in the region.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran also issued a statement announcing the implementation of a new operation by the IRGC Aerospace Force.
According to the statement, IRGC Aerospace Force fighters targeted and destroyed four important targets using long-range solid-fuel missiles, including the F-35 fighter hangars at the Al-Azraq Air Base and the US Army Command and Control Center in Jordan.
In this statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran, referring to the previous operations of the IRGC Navy against US air and naval bases in the region and the downing of an MQ-9 drone, emphasized that these actions were taken within the framework of retaliatory operations and in response to the enemy's actions.
At the end of the statement, it is stated that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are fully prepared to give a decisive and crushing response to any possible new aggression and that the American side will be responsible for the consequences of any further action.
These developments occur while the Axios news website had previously reported, citing a senior American official, that a second wave of US attacks against Iran had been carried out, targeting air defense systems and radars.
The Fox News network also claimed, citing an American official, that military operations against Iran are continuing and that their targets include Iranian defense systems and radar facilities.
