Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the International Organizations in Vienna on Wednesday, after the adoption of the resolution proposed by the United States and three European countries, Britain, France and Germany, in the IAEA Council, published a message on X, writing: Today, the Board of Governors approved another political resolution on Iran's peaceful nuclear activities with a fragile vote; a resolution that lacks the professionalism expected of a technical institution.
The Iranian delegation added: How can the International Atomic Energy Agency be trusted when it has become a tool of warmongers and has become so weak that it is unable to even express a simple concern about the most widespread illegal armed attacks against peaceful nuclear facilities under the safeguards of a Member State, which is unprecedented in the history of the Agency?
The message continued: This resolution hypocritically supports a diplomatic solution, while the United States simultaneously takes further aggressive actions, including against Iran’s civilian infrastructure, and incites confrontation in various circles.
The Iranian delegation emphasized: A diplomatic solution requires at least a little goodwill.
The message concluded: Iran will defend its inalienable rights, including in response to this distorted resolution.
