Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Antonio Guterres, the passive Secretary-General of the United Nations, this morning (Thursday) again showed a passive response to the aggression of the criminal and terrorist US army against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Guterres wrote on his official page on the social network "X" (formerly Twitter): "The Middle East is being dragged deeper into crisis and its consequences go beyond the region."
He, who does not even dare to name the US and the Zionist regime in his statement, said: "This week has brought more widespread attacks and a further deterioration of the situation, where the ceasefire is more like a minor exchange of fire."
The senior UN official said: “We should not underestimate the risks of small-scale exchanges of fire escalating into full-scale conflict. All parties must work towards a diplomatic agreement.”
Earlier on Monday evening, Guterres expressed concern about the exchange of fire between Iran and the Israeli regime and called for the immediate reopening of all crossings into the Gaza Strip.
