Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Donald Trump claimed on Thursday that the US military will continue its attacks on Iran. This is while Washington has attacked Iran over the past two nights, in the midst of negotiations to stop the war that has been going on since late February.
However, these attacks are facing a strong Iranian response, and just hours ago, the Iranian armed forces announced that they had attacked 5 US military bases in the region.
Trump once again repeated a claim that was also rejected by US officials, saying that “Iran’s navy, air force, radars, air defenses, along with a large part of its offensive capability, have been destroyed.”
While Iran has carried out severe retaliatory attacks on US assets and facilities in the region over the past two nights, Trump claimed that “the United States is going to hit Iran very hard tonight.”
He also said that the United States would seize Kharg Island and other Iranian oil infrastructure.
Tehran has strongly warned that if Washington invades on land, Iranian soil will become a graveyard for American soldiers.
After weeks of failing to undermine Iran’s management of the Strait of Hormuz with his supposedly powerful military, Trump has claimed that we will seize Kharg Island and other Iranian energy facilities.
