Russia destroys 540 Ukrainian drones
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of dozens of Ukrainian drones by the Russian military defense in the past few hours.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the country's air defense systems intercepted and shot down 15 guided air bombs, a HIMARS multiple launch rocket, and 540 drones over the past 24 hours.

The Russian Defense Ministry's statement said that energy and transportation infrastructure related to Ukrainian forces and drone launch sites were also targeted.

During this period, 1,440 Ukrainian soldiers were also killed.

The Russian Defense Ministry pointed to the advance of Russian forces in Konstantinovka.

It is worth noting that on February 21, 2022 (2nd Hut 1400), Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the independence of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics in the Donbas region, criticizing the West's indifference to Moscow's security concerns.

Three days later, on Thursday, February 24 (5th Hut 1400), Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military operation, which he called a "special operation," against Ukraine, thus turning the tense Moscow-Kiev relations into a military confrontation.

In response to this Russian action, the United States and Western countries have so far imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow and sent billions of dollars in weapons and military equipment to Kiev.
