Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to this text, which was published by Al-Mayadeen Network, the process of collecting and storing heavy weapons and deactivating military infrastructure will be carried out gradually and in stages based on a timetable.
Palestinian resistance groups clarified that the timetable for implementing this process will be implemented simultaneously with the gradual withdrawal of the Zionist regime from the occupied areas in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian groups’ response, the arms embargo timeline will be established after the first phase of the ceasefire agreement is completed and the National Committee arrives and begins to carry out its duties.
According to this response by the Palestinian resistance groups to the aforementioned roadmap, the implementation of everything included in the agreement must lead to a political process that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their own state and the right to self-determination.
Accordingly, the requirements of the first phase also include the entry of the National Committee, the deployment of an international stabilization force, and the dismantling of armed militias. In addition, the full implementation of the humanitarian protocol, the cessation of attacks, and adherence to the withdrawal lines are other requirements of this phase.
According to the text published by Al-Mayadeen, the implementation process will be carried out through the Palestinian National Committee and in cooperation with Palestinian organizations, and no weapons will be handed over to the Israeli occupiers or non-Palestinian parties.
In this response, the Palestinian groups clarified that the issue of weapons is related to the vision and right of the Palestinian people to establish their own state and determine their own destiny within the framework of the Trump plan and international resolutions.
According to Trump's peace plan, as soon as the ceasefire was announced, the Israeli army was supposed to completely stop the attacks and gradually withdraw from the occupied territories. However, the Zionists completely violated this agreement, killing nearly a thousand Palestinians in Gaza during the said period and expanding the area of the occupied territories.
Hamas announced last Friday that a delegation from this movement, headed by Khalil al-Hayya, had arrived in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to resume the Gaza negotiations.
