Advisor to the President of the UAE: We hope that the US-Iran agreement will be the beginning of a successful political path

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "Anwar Gargash" wrote on his X social network account that a possible agreement between Washington and Tehran will end the war.

He wrote: We are approaching the signing of the imminent agreement between Washington and Tehran, an agreement that will turn the tide of the war and will be the beginning of a political path that we hope will be successful.

Gargash also claimed that the UAE authorities have dealt with the crisis of the war and its consequences with wisdom, stability in positions and flexibility.

Emphasizing adherence to the option of peace and stability, he added: We have never been war-mongering and have always wanted peace and stability, and at the same time we will remain committed to defending the homeland, protecting its sovereignty and interests.

In this regard, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said in a press conference yesterday: "We have gone through a process of almost two months since the ceasefire was announced on April 10 and the process that began with Pakistan's mediation."

He continued: "This process has had many ups and downs, and the main reason for this is that the American side did not have a conventional negotiation model; the contradictory positions of American officials and the frequent changes of their views through the media have both made the work of the mediators difficult and prolonged the process."

Baghaei said: "This is not the final agreement between Iran and the United States, but rather an understanding that outlines the general outlines of the disputed issues and specifies that the war will end."

He continued: "The nuclear issue is also scheduled to be discussed within a 60-day period, so there will be no discussion about its details at this stage."
