The German national team crushed Curacao 7-1 in the first match of the 2026 World Cup with a devastating performance, warning all competitors that the team is still hungry for the championship.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA):, The match between the German and Curacao national football teams was held at 21:00 last night (Sunday) at Boston Stadium with referee Jalal Jade, which ended with a score of 7-1 in favor of the team.

Enmecha (6), Schlöterbeck (38), Havertz (45+3 - penalty and 88), Musiala (50), Brown (68) and Denis Ondau (78) scored for Germany. Livano Commencia (21) also scored the only goal for Curacao.

The game started with Germany in possession of the ball, and Enmecha opened the opponent's goal in the 6th minute. But Curaçao did not give up and in the 21st minute, Coménencia equalized.

After this goal, Germany regained control of the game. Schlöterbeck scored the second goal with a header in the 38th minute and Havertz scored the third goal from the penalty spot in first-half stoppage time.

In the second half, the German storm was complete. Musiala (50), Braun (68), Ondau (78) and Havertz (88) scored four more goals for Curaçao to bring the score to seven.

Curaçao scored another goal in the 66th minute but it was ruled out for offside.

With this result, Germany showed strength in their first match at the 2026 World Cup and earned three valuable points.

The victory is Germany's biggest win in a World Cup opening match since 2002. "We wanted to show from the first minute that we came to win," said Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann after the game. Kai Havertz was the best player on the pitch with two goals and an assist.
