Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The newsletter website reported that in a telephone call between Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri and Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as political and field trends related to the memorandum of understanding reached between the United States and Iran, were discussed.

According to the published report, an important part of the conversation was dedicated to the clause related to the end of the Zionist regime's war against Lebanon within the framework of the recent understanding.

Berri and Qalibaf emphasized in this call that the United States, the guarantor parties of this memorandum of understanding, as well as the international community, must fulfill their responsibility for implementing the provisions of the agreement.

The report added that the two sides also stressed the need to force the Zionist regime to end the war against Lebanon, stop the destruction of villages, respect Lebanon's sovereignty, and immediately withdraw from the occupied territories.
