France national team won 3-1 against Senegal
The French national team, which had finished the first half with a sleepy and goalless performance against Senegal, stormed into the opponent in the second half with a storm of Mbappe and Barcola and won 3-1.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): and quoted by Mehr reporter, the French and Senegal national football teams from Group E of the 2026 World Cup faced each other last night (Tuesday) at 1:30 PM Afghanistan time at the Pennsylvania Stadium in the United States, and the game ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of the Roosters.

Mbappe (66th minute and 5+90) and Barcola (82nd minute) scored for France and Mbaye (4+90) for Senegal.

First half; France asleep, Senegal close to goal
France entered the field with stars such as Mbappe, Dembele and Rabiot, but numerous mistakes in passing and incoordination in passing the ball caused the Roosters to present a low-risk and unexpected performance. On the other hand, Senegal appeared more dangerous by relying on physical strength and counterattacks.

The Senegalese created the first and most serious opportunity of the match in the 2nd minute. Nicholas Jackson aimed a strong shot at the French goal, but the ball went out after hitting the vertical post, allowing Deschamps' students to escape an early goal. The first half ended with a score of 0-0.

Second half; Mbappe's storm and the Roosters' awakening
The second half was accompanied by a completely different performance from France. Didier Deschamps' students circulated the ball with more calmness and precision and gradually took full control of the match.

In the 66th minute, Michael Oliseh sent the ball into the penalty area with an exceptional pass from the right and Kylian Mbappe scored the first goal of the match with a quick move and a spectacular shot.

Just a minute later, Senegal opened the French goal through Jackson, but the assistant referee ruled the goal out for offside.

In the 82nd minute, Adrien Rabiot played a precise ground pass to Bradley Barcola in the heart of the penalty area, and the player chipped the ball over Edouard Mendy's head to increase the difference to two goals.

Senegal equalized one goal in the 90th minute + 4 through Mbappe, but in the 90th minute + 5, Mbappe scored his second goal and France's third goal with a magnificent shot from behind the penalty area to complete the storm of the Roosters.

Kylian Mbappe scored twice to take his international tally to 48, once again proving that he is the biggest star on the pitch on the big stage. Michel Oliseh also made his name in the memories of French fans with his exceptional assist.

According to experts, France, with two completely different halves, showed that despite a slow start and individual mistakes, they are capable of turning any difficult game around thanks to the quality of their stars.

Observers say that Didier Deschamps was able to take control of the game in the second half by adjusting the midfield and making the most of the speed of Mbappe and Barkula. Senegal, despite a brave first half, could not withstand the second half storm of the Roosters and, despite reducing the gap, could not escape defeat.
