Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Arg page on X published a press release stating that Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, met with Maulvi Mohammad Hanif Hamza, Governor of Faryab Province, and discussed the general situation of the province and its development needs.
In this meeting, the Governor of Faryab presented a report on the general situation of the province, the activities and functions of local officials, and assured of ensuring nationwide security and addressing the problems of the residents. He also raised the demands and suggestions of the people of Faryab, especially in the field of building water dams and implementing development projects.
Maulvi Mohammad Hanif Hamzah stated that the development of water infrastructure and the implementation of development projects are among the important needs of this province and called for more attention to development projects in Faryab.
On the other hand, Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, emphasizing the responsibility of government institutions in serving the people, stated that ensuring security, social welfare, and solving the problems of citizens are among the priorities of the Islamic Emirate.
Regarding the suggestions made by the officials and residents of Faryab province, he also said that these issues have been reviewed and the necessary practical measures will be taken to address them.
Faryab is one of the northern provinces of the country, and the development of water infrastructure, management of water resources, and the implementation of development projects are among its basic needs to strengthen the local economy and improve the livelihoods of its residents.
