Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Arabi 21, Ron Ben-Yishai, a military expert of the Zionist regime, said about the great disaster facing the Strip as a result of the Tel Aviv army's genocide that the Israeli army continues to strengthen its military presence in the Strip and is carrying out military actions that are different from its actions in the Suez Canal in Egypt or in southern Lebanon.
Ben-Yishai, who recently visited the Gaza Strip with the support of the Zionist army, adds that there is a real time bomb and a long-term threat under Gaza, which includes 2.2 million Palestinians living in inhuman conditions.
He added that currently, about 400,000 Palestinians live in tents and rooms made of nylon and metal sheets, mostly inside half-destroyed buildings, in a concentrated manner.
Ben Yishai expressed surprise at the military actions and equipment of the Israeli army in the areas under its control in the Gaza Strip, adding that these areas constitute approximately 64 percent of the area of the Gaza Strip and are uninhabited.
He revealed that the Israeli army has built 40 new bases inside the Gaza Strip, all of which are dedicated to housing joint combat teams of various sizes of armored, infantry and military engineering forces. Most of these bases, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, have been completed, while some are still under construction. The cost of each base is more than one million dollars.
The Zionist analyst added that the military base he visited overlooks the ruins and remains of buildings in the village of Bani Suhayla (east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip).
He said that the bases are not located directly on the "Yellow Line", but a few hundred meters inside the area under army control, and the aim is to prevent any attempts to infiltrate directly or through tunnels and to reduce the bases' exposure to direct fire from short distances.
He noted that the instructions of the occupying army soldiers are that "any Palestinian who crosses this road must be stopped or killed."
Ben Yishai explained that the Israeli army is establishing a warning and protection zone in an area hundreds of meters wide between the bases and the Yellow Line, and a ditch is currently being dug along this area to prevent any rapid incursions of motorcycles, small trucks or other vehicles into areas under Israeli army control.
The Israeli analyst noted that the regime's army is still conducting excavation and exploration operations to discover tunnels in order to prevent any surprises that might be encountered by forces stationed in positions or while moving in the area.
He also explained that roadside bombs and mines planted on the movement routes are the main source of concern for the Israeli military, so most of the roads leading to military positions, as well as the communication roads between them, have been paved.
