China: We are committed to facilitating the Iran-US talks

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to Al Jazeera, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced: We are committed to facilitating the talks between Iran and the US.

The ministry emphasized: We will soon send humanitarian aid shipments to Iran and Lebanon.

Yesterday, in a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart, the Chinese Foreign Minister congratulated the first-stage understanding between Iran and the US under Pakistan's mediation and called maintaining peace a common duty of all countries.

He stated: China has also mediated between Iran and the US in its own way. The current agreement is the beginning of the path, not the end point; therefore, the continuation of peace in the Middle East and the Persian Gulf region still requires the continued efforts of all parties. The second phase of negotiations will have more obstacles than the first phase, but despite this prediction, there should be no turning back.
