The head of the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment met with the governor of Namangan, Uzbekistan, on the sidelines of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum and discussed expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to the Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Investment’s newsletter, in this meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on strengthening trade relations, developing investment, and accelerating the implementation of bilateral agreements.
 
The talks also emphasized providing more opportunities for cooperation between the private sectors of Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, increasing the volume of trade exchanges, and developing joint economic projects.
 
The parties also emphasized the importance of exchanging trade and investment delegations to identify new economic opportunities and expand cooperation in various sectors.
 
This meeting takes place at a time when economic and transit relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have been expanding in recent years, and the two countries are trying to further enhance the level of trade and investment cooperation.
