In contrast, Sheikh Islam Jar, welcoming the expansion of bilateral cooperation, emphasized the important role of the Islam Qala border, the Herat-Khawaf railway, the Abu Nasr Farahi port, and the Nimroz Silk Bridge border in the development of economic and transit relations between the two countries.

Herat is considered one of the main centers of economic and trade relations between Afghanistan and Iran due to its border with Iran and its location on important transit routes.
The Islam Qala border, the Herat-Khawaf railway, and the trade routes leading to Abu Nasr Farahi Port and the Nimroz Silk Bridge are among the most important gateways for trade exchanges between the two countries.
In recent years, Afghan and Iranian authorities have repeatedly emphasized the development of cooperation in the sectors of trade, transit, investment, mining, and agriculture, and both sides are trying to use existing capacities to increase economic exchanges and facilitate the movement of goods.
