The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in a statement the implementation of a joint missile and drone operation against US military targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, and announced that this operation was carried out in response to Washington's recent aggressions. The IRGC also pointed to the US attack on five coastal posts of the Islamic Republic of Iran this morning and emphasized that from now on, offending ships in the Strait of Hormuz will be dealt with more decisively than in the past, and any potential aggression by the enemy will be met with a "crushing" response.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The IRGC issued a statement announcing that the IRGC's naval and aerospace forces targeted eight important US military infrastructures in the Ali al-Salem base in Kuwait and the country's Fifth Naval Fleet in Bahrain's Salman Port during a joint missile and drone operation this morning, Sunday, the 7th of Seztan.
The statement said that the operation was carried out between 2 and 3 am using ballistic missiles and drones and was carried out in response to recent US aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The IRGC continued its statement by announcing that the US had targeted five coastal posts of the Islamic Republic of Iran this morning under the pretext of countering the IRGC Navy’s action against an offending ship.
Another part of the statement, referring to the arrangements governing the Strait of Hormuz, stated: “According to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, the responsibility for controlling traffic in the Strait of Hormuz lies with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and from now on, offending ships will be dealt with more force and determination.”
The IRGC also warned that any potential enemy aggression, regardless of the pretext or the importance of the targets attacked, will be met with a “crushing” response.
At the end of the statement, it was emphasized that the violation of the ceasefire is contrary to the first paragraph of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding and the continuation of such actions could lead to a complete halt to the processes envisaged in this Memorandum of Understanding.
