Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Prime Minister, at the opening ceremony of the 5th National and International Exhibition of Industry and Mining Week in Kabul, considered war and conflict not the solution to countries' problems in the current world conditions and emphasized the need for governments to focus on economic development and progress.
He said that countries should use their resources and capacities for development, prosperity and welfare of the people instead of conflicts.
Hanafi also stated that the policy of the Islamic Emirate is based on peaceful relations, mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries, and this approach can provide the basis for expanding economic and trade cooperation.
The Deputy Prime Minister added that by creating facilities for industrialists and investors, the Islamic Emirate is trying to provide the basis for economic growth, the development of domestic industries and an increase in national production so that Afghanistan can gradually transform from an import-oriented country to an export-oriented country.
In conclusion, he emphasized supporting domestic production, attracting investment and strengthening the national economy as important priorities of the Islamic Emirate.
