Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: On the eve of the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, emphasized the historical and spiritual ties between Lebanon and Iran, and referred to the martyred leader as the manifestation of "one nation in one man" and an eternal role model for generations, and emphasized the continuation of the path of resistance and adherence to common ideals.

He started his message with verse 111 of Surah Towbah about martyrdom and wrote:

(Indeed, Allah has bought from the believers their souls and their wealth, that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and are killed.) And they kill a promise against him in the Torah, the Injil, and the Qur'an. By the sale you have made, and that is the great victory.

 

*Indeed, Allah has purchased the lives and property of the believers at the price of Paradise. They strive in the way of Allah, so they kill (the enemies of the religion) and are killed. This is a firm promise from Allah and a covenant mentioned in the Torah, the Gospel and the Quran. And who is more trustworthy than Allah and the one who breaks the covenant? After this deal that you have made, be very happy, for this is truly a great happiness and victory.

The Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament continued: My Lord, O Imam!

Some words have a meaning beyond being included in dictionaries.

Some positions transcend the boundaries of time, and some men are such that they stand above the number of individuals; as it is said: A nation in the stature of a man.

On your farewell day, O leader of the nation and the martyr of the witness;

O Imam, you will remain as a memory for generations and an eternal and unforgettable model… They will return and we will return to your pioneering and pioneering positions; the same positions that made the oppressors, the arrogant and the aggressors confused and sleepless: “Neither Eastern nor Western… and [that] helping the oppressed is worship.”

This is the Islamic Revolution of Iran; what we lived with Imam Seyyed Musa Sadr and experienced with the connection and connection to the late Imam Ayatollah Seyyed Ruhollah Al-Mousavi Khomeini and his companion, the martyr Mustafa Chamran; the time when Imam Sadr wrote the “Call of the Prophets” with the ink of his pen and addressed the East and the West for the sake of Iran and Lebanon.

O traveler, resident and martyr, O Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei; Before meeting you? [For me] a bright sun for You were a new dawn. And how much the ear captivates before the eye. When I first met you in the early nineties, you led me to the threshold of the great Imams and summarized all that was, what should be, what we should be and what we should stand on and what can heal wounds and act instead of turning countless pages in a book.

I will never forget the phrase you said: “My dear brother, Master Nabih, through you to the Amal movement, I say to my dear brothers and sisters that my flesh is your flesh and my blood is your blood, your peace is my peace and your war is my war; we are descendants of each other. Unity, unity and more unity, in all areas.”

We have become accustomed to this unifying discourse; a discourse that is now on every tongue and lip and is based on confronting the Zionist enemy; an enemy that targets the elderly before adults, children and before youth. To uproot the spirit of resistance in Lebanon.

An enemy that destroyed the country to the point that some villages are no longer left, and left behind a sea of ​​martyrs, wounded, prisoners, and steadfast men who still stand on the fire of ideals, on the trigger of resistance, and on guarding the will. And they are steadfast on the trigger of weapons, they have remained steadfast, and we have guarded the will.

My lord, O Imam, O traveling martyr present in our memory;

We are still in the month of Muharram, and the calamity is still great and heavy, but the lamp of guidance still shines… And Imam Hussein (AS) is still the compass direction and the resounding cry throughout history: the arms that were purified, the ancestors who became famous, the proud who did not bow down, and the free souls who preferred to die on the path of honor and dignity instead of accepting the orders of the inferiors; and no matter how expensive the price of these sacrifices is, we will never turn our backs. We will not change

O descendant of the Imams, your destiny and that of the Imams was such that you would be martyred unjustly and treacherously and ascend to heaven with blows from behind; just as you were in the prayer altar with the Quran between your two hands... Oh, the Night of Power!

My Lord, on your last journey from Tehran to Najaf, to Karbala and Samarra, and finally to the holy Mashhad and the holy shrine of Razavi, I remember you with prayers and that eternal cry: "It is as if the bonds of my being are being torn apart by the desert wolves between Nawawis and Karbala; and every day is Ashura."

In your position, words are full of eternal lessons. In bidding farewell to you, I repeat the words that I said in our last meeting at the condolence ceremony for the martyrdom of President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his martyr companions; and I address them to His Holiness the Leader Seyyed Mojtaba and to the brothers in the leadership of the Islamic Republic (the government and the nation): "Indeed, every wound "The wound inflicted on our brothers in the Islamic Republic of Iran is a wound that hurts every honorable Lebanese."
