Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mashhad: Dr. Seyed Javad Vahidi, head of the Afghans in Iran Foundation, in a speech referring to the martyrdom of the leader of the nation, stated that the sadness and grief caused by this heartbreaking event has engulfed not only Iran and Iranians, but also the Islamic nation and beyond, all freedom-seekers and those who have been harassed by the oppressors and arrogant powers.
He said: “The scenes of expressing love, affection and sorrow for this heartbreaking event are clearly visible in Iran, and even in Western countries you can witness the emotion and regret of freedom-loving people. The flood of tears in every corner of this world indicates several basic points.”
Vahidi added: “The first point is the injustice of the martyred leader; injustice because this divine figure of our era was not well known. The unjust accusations that were spread against him in the enemy media deceived some, but with his martyrdom, people realized that what they had fabricated against this pure, humble, tireless fighter and mujahid were all lies.”
The head of the Afghans Living in Iran Foundation considered the main factor behind the popularity of the great leader and the emotion caused by his loss to be his “popularity and being with the people,” and he clarified: “He neither sought refuge deep underground, nor did he flee to a foreign country, nor did he shelter his family elsewhere. He was martyred alongside his family and among the people. These aspects made his popularity not only limited to the geography of Iran but also captured the hearts of freedom-loving people around the world.”
Vahidi continued by stating that “the more time passes, the more we know about him,” and added: “He himself prevented any details about his personality from being published. Now that he is no longer with us, we can easily express the immense dimensions of the martyred leader’s personality, and this love and affection will increase every day.”
