Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Thousands of Nigerian Shiites held a symbolic ceremony in the city of Zaria this morning (Saturday, July 4) to mourn the holy body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
This grand ceremony was held while the central government of Nigeria has always imposed obstacles and hostile conditions against the Shiites of this country. However, since the beginning of the American-Zionist invasion and the martyrdom of the Leader of the Revolution, Nigerian Shiites have held several mourning ceremonies, marches, and gatherings of support and solidarity.
The extensive activities of Nigerian Shiites have been concentrated mainly in the north of the country, including the cities of Kano, Zaria and around the capital, Abuja. This ceremony shows the depth of devotion and solidarity of Nigerian Shiites with the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution and his ideals.

According to political and religious experts, the symbolic funeral of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution by thousands of Nigerian Shiites sends a clear message of the transnational solidarity of the Islamic Ummah and the deep devotion of the Shiites of the world to the leadership of the Islamic Revolution.
