Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: The Chairman and Leadership Council of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), who traveled to Tehran to attend the funeral of the martyred leader, met and discussed with Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, today (Saturday).
This meeting was held on the sidelines of the presence of foreign delegations participating in the funeral.
According to Fars, according to reports, over the past two days, a number of senior foreign officials, including the foreign ministers of Afghanistan, Nicaragua, Congo Brazzaville, Kazakhstan, Burkina Faso, the head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Region, and the cabinet minister of the Namibian presidency, have also met with the Iranian foreign minister in Tehran.
The Secretary General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Secretary General of the Islamic Conference, the Chairman of the Foreign Policy Advisory Council of Thailand, and Asim Munir, the Commander-in-Chief of the Pakistani Army, have also met with Seyyed Abbas Araghchi during this period.
Esmail Baghai, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, had previously said that high-level delegations from different countries around the world would attend the ceremony, including at least 8 heads of state and 12 parliament speakers, in addition to a large number of foreign ministers, other ministers, and special representatives.
