Hashd al-Shaabi: Full preparations have been made for the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Yasser Hussein al-Issawi, deputy chief of staff of the Iraqi Hashd al-Shaabi Organization for operations, announced the completion of all preparations and organizational measures to hold the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.

 

He announced that the ceremony is scheduled to be held on Wednesday of this week in the provinces of Najaf Ashraf and Karbala al-Mu'alla and all necessary coordination has been made between the relevant institutions for its implementation.

 

It has also been reported that members of the Supreme State Committee overseeing the ceremony have been informed of the latest security, organizational and service measures by conducting field visits to the funeral routes. Iraqi media have also reported that the governor of Najaf Ashraf has taken direct charge of the ceremony in the province.

 

Meanwhile, in Iran, the farewell ceremony for the martyred leader began this morning at the Imam Khomeini (RA) prayer hall in Tehran and continues with a large attendance of the public.

 

According to the announcement of the Iranian government delegation, Sunday, July 4, has been declared an official holiday throughout Iran so that people can attend the farewell and funeral ceremony.

 

The information committee of the funeral headquarters for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in Qom has also announced that prayers will be led over the martyred leader's body in this city by Ayatollah Javadi Amoli.
