Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Russian Defense Ministry has announced that "the strategic city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk Republic has been liberated" and is now under the full control of its forces.
According to this announcement, the Russian military has stated that the capture of this city paves the way for the completion of the operation in the Donbass region and the expansion of the buffer zone on Ukrainian territory.
A report published by Russian sources states that after encircling the city from the north and south and pressuring supply lines, the country's forces have taken control of supply routes and have finally isolated the Ukrainian garrison stationed in the area before the final operation.
Sergei Rudskoy, head of the Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, has also announced that this process has been completed after the encirclement and cutting off Ukrainian supply routes.
