Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Osama Hamdan, one of the prominent leaders of the Hamas movement, explained the unparalleled role of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in supporting the Palestinian nation and cause on Saturday evening at the international conference "Imam Khamenei (RA); Eternal Leader of the Resistance" held at the initiative of the World Islamic Awakening Forum in the Tehran Summit Hall.

 

Palestine; An issue beyond borders

Hamdan began his speech by citing the views of the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: “Imam Khomeini (may Allah have mercy on him) always believed that Palestine is not only the issue of the Palestinian nation, but also belongs to the entire Islamic nation and even the global conscience.”

He described this comprehensive view as the cornerstone of Iran’s foreign policy towards the Palestinian issue, adding that the Martyr Leader of the Revolution also considered Palestine a religious, national and human issue with the same approach.

 

Unifying Diplomacy for the Palestinian Cause

The Hamas leader, referring to the continuous emphasis of the leaders of the Islamic Republic on the necessity of strengthening relations with the Arab and Islamic world, stated: “The Imam (may Allah have mercy on him) and the Martyr Leader of the Revolution always emphasized maintaining positive relations with Arab and Islamic countries, as well as strengthening relations with all currents and components of the Islamic nation, despite differences in views and tendencies, because they considered all these capacities to serve the Palestinian cause.”

 

From advice to strategy; When Support Becomes Operational

In an important part of his speech, Hamdan considered the distinguishing feature of the Revolutionary Leader's view of Palestine to be going beyond conventional slogans and entering the realm of practical and strategic actions, and stated: "This view did not remain just a recommendation and slogan, but rather became a practical strategy, and the officials of the Islamic Republic were tasked with supporting the Palestinian cause by expanding relations, creating communication channels, attracting political support, and strengthening their presence in international and Islamic forums."

 

Comprehensive support; from equipping the resistance to caring for the families of the martyrs

He went on to describe the field dimensions of this support and said: "From the perspective of the Revolutionary Leader, all forms of resistance were necessary, and with his continuous guidance and follow-up, he provided the basis for providing all the necessary facilities for the formation, strengthening, and development of the capabilities of the resistance; in such a way that today its achievements are clear to everyone."

Referring to the human and emotional aspects of this support, Hamdan added: "He always emphasized caring for the families of the martyrs and supporting them, and this comprehensive view turned the resistance into a deep-rooted and solid movement."

 

Personal responsibility in the most difficult missions

Revealing a corner of the martyred leader's sacrifices, the senior Hamas leader stated: "There was no hesitation or deterrent calculation on this path, and even in some difficult missions, they personally took responsibility." He described this spirit as a model for leaders of the Islamic world in defending the oppressed.

Acknowledging that words are unable to express the whole truth, Hamdan said: "It is impossible to express all aspects of the role of the martyred leader of the revolution in supporting Palestine and the resistance. What was mentioned is only a part of their services and struggles in the path of defending Quds, the Palestinian nation and its resistance, and this path, by God’s permission, will continue until the goals are fully realized.”

At the end of his speech, he outlined the future outlook in a tone full of hope and confidence, saying: “Despite all the difficulties and challenges, these obstacles will eventually lead to the opening of the gates of victory, and victory is only from God Almighty.”

Hamdan concluded his speech by praying for the martyred leader of the revolution and the future of the resistance, asking God to bless martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and grant the new leader of the Islamic Revolution success in continuing this glorious path in supporting the cause of Palestine and the Islamic nation.
