Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, while holding a grand and million-strong farewell ceremony and funeral for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, issued a message appreciating the large attendance of the people at the ceremony.
He wrote: "Today, the proud and invincible nation of Islamic Iran unanimously testified in favor of its martyred Mujahid Imam: O Allah, we know nothing from him except good."
Qalibaf also added that the Iranian people shouted in unison and from the depths of their hearts during the ceremony: “O the martyrs of Al-Hussein (peace be upon him),” a slogan that, according to him, expresses the continuation of the path of resistance and loyalty to the ideals of the martyrs and the Islamic Revolution.
These statements were made while the farewell and funeral ceremony for the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution is being held with the widespread presence of millions of people from different walks of life, officials, and political and religious figures from different countries.
On the other hand, Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, said in a message: Keep your eyes on Iran these days. People are shouting two slogans during the farewell and funeral of their leader: resistance against enemies and revenge for the blood of the martyred leader of Iran.
