Shahbaz Sharif: The impact of the martyred leader of Iran on the region will last for generations
The Prime Minister of Pakistan expressed condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran at the funeral of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing that Pakistan stands by Iran in this time of sorrow and grief and the impact of the leadership of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution will remain for generations.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: At the funeral of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his message of condolences and sympathy on behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to the government and people of Iran.
 
In his speech, he said that the wisdom, leadership and profound impact of the martyred leader of the Islamic Republic have not only affected this country, but also the developments in the region, and this impact will be remembered for future generations.
 
The Pakistani Prime Minister also referred to the presence of a high-ranking delegation from the country in the ceremony, adding that to show solidarity with the people of Iran, a delegation consisting of high-ranking officials including the Foreign Minister, the Army Chief, senior members of parliament, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Speaker of the National Assembly, along with a number of ministers and government officials, participated in the ceremony.
 
Shahbaz Sharif emphasized that Pakistan, as a brotherly neighbor, stands by Iran and shares in its grief.
 
It is worth noting that delegations from about 100 countries attended the ceremony to pay tribute to the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in Tehran.
 
From Afghanistan, a high-ranking delegation headed by Mullah Baradar, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, attended the ceremony and paid tribute to the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution. Also, on the sidelines of the ceremony, the Afghan delegation met and held talks with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the country's president.
