Donation of four and a half acres of land for the construction of schools in four districts of Herat

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: Officials of the Herat Education Department announced that education-loving residents of Karkh, Kashk Rubat Sangi, Pashtun Zarghun and Guzra districts have donated four and a half acres of land with an area of ​​9 thousand square meters and worth more than two million and 120 thousand Afghanis to the department for the construction of schools.

 

Maulvi Mohammad Rahmani, Head of Herat Education, said that these lands have been provided to the Department of Education with the aim of building schools and expanding educational infrastructure; an action that can provide better access to education for children and youth in these areas.

 

While appreciating this initiative of the people, he considered the participation of citizens in the development of education as an important factor in strengthening the education system and creating better opportunities for the future generation.

 

Rahmani added that the cooperation and support of the people for the education sector facilitates the implementation of educational projects and the development of educational infrastructure, and he also called on other benefactors and residents of the province to continue their cooperation in promoting education and developing educational centers.

 

This action is being taken at a time when the need to develop educational spaces still exists in a number of Herat regions, and officials consider public participation to be one of the effective factors in meeting these needs.
