Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Iraqi Joint Operations Command, headed by Qais al-Mohammadawy, deputy commander of the headquarters, held a meeting with the presence of senior commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces and Iraqi security and military officials.
According to a statement released by the Popular Mobilization Forces, the meeting was attended by Abdul Amir Qaytan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Popular Mobilization Forces for Intelligence Affairs, Yasser Hussein al-Issawi, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations Affairs, Khalil Ibrahim, Director of the General Operations Directorate, and a number of security and military commanders of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, and the Iraqi Ministry of Interior.
In this meeting, the latest measures and preparations related to holding the funeral ceremony of His Highness Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may God be pleased with him) were reviewed, and the participants discussed and exchanged views on security plans, how to organize the ceremony, the provision of services, and joint coordination mechanisms between the responsible institutions.
