He emphasized in an official statement today that the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza is ready to accept responsibility, but the start of this institution's work will be subject to the provision of the necessary conditions and facilities to play its national role.
These statements come at a time when, following recent developments in the management structure of the Gaza Strip, the head of the State Emergency Committee and the head of the Department for the Follow-up of State Affairs have submitted their resignations, and the Emergency Committee has been dissolved.
According to reports, the process of transferring administrative responsibilities and duties to the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza is in the final stages of coordination, and this committee is expected to assume responsibility for the administration of Gaza's administrative affairs after completing the preparations.
