Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul, a gathering to get acquainted with the Holy Quran on the occasion of the commemoration of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Ummah, Imam Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him), was held yesterday, Monday, 15th of July 1405, with the support of the Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul.
At this ceremony, Dr. Seyed Ruhollah Hosseini, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul, referring to the large attendance of people at the funeral ceremony of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Ummah, expressed hope that in the future, relations between Iran and Afghanistan will reach a level where visas between the two countries will no longer be required.
Stating that the martyred Imam always paid special attention to women and the position of the Holy Quran, he said: That great personality always listened to the views and concerns of women carefully and respectfully and considered them to be important pillars of the Islamic society.
Emphasizing that in the current circumstances, the best way to save the Islamic Ummah is to cling to the Holy Quran, Hosseini added: The Quran is a vast journey of divine blessings and everyone benefits from it according to their capacity. He called on Muslims to reflect on the divine verses in addition to reciting them and to apply the teachings of the Quran in their individual and social lives.
In the continuation of this program, female speakers also presented their views, focusing on the Quranic lifestyle and the role of women in realizing an Islamic society.
Referring to the views of Imam Khamenei (RA), Ms. Latifeh Hosseini, a Quranic activist, considered the Quran to be a comprehensive program for human life and said that Quranic life is not limited to recitation, but also includes understanding, contemplation, acting on verses, observing Islamic ethics, justice, trustworthiness, truthfulness, and social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Ms. Ozra Mohammadi, a religious activist, also emphasized the need to expand Quranic culture, considering the problems of Islamic societies to be caused by distancing themselves from the teachings of the Quran and Islamic ethics, and emphasized the role of youth, the media, and the educational system in institutionalizing a Quranic lifestyle.
At the same time, Ms. Mehrnegar Aslami, a cultural activist, also called the Holy Quran a source of peace, hope, and resilience for women, especially Iranian women living in Afghanistan, and said that divine teachings can strengthen them against the difficulties of life, migration, and social challenges.
In the following, Ms. Babaei, an Iranian immigrant living in Afghanistan, while honoring the memory of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Ummah, highlighted the role of women in preserving Islamic values, educating the believing generation, strengthening unity, piety, chastity, honesty, and serving the Islamic community, and emphasized the responsibility of today's generation in safeguarding Islamic ideals.
It is worth noting that the event ended with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, speeches, and honoring the memory of the martyred Imam of the Islamic Ummah.
