Representative of the Supreme Religious Authority of Iraq to offer prayers over the body of the martyred leader

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Secretariat of the Husseini Holy Shrine in Karbala announced that Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, representative of the Supreme Religious Authority of Iraq and the Custodian of the Husseini Holy Shrine, will offer prayers over the holy body of the martyred leader of the Islamic nation.

 

In an official statement, the Husseini Holy Shrine also announced the completion of the necessary service, administrative and organizational preparations to welcome the funeral ceremony and bid farewell to the body of the martyred nation.

 

According to this statement, all necessary arrangements have been made to hold the ceremony in the most magnificent way and provide services to pilgrims and participants in the funeral ceremony.

 

Today in Qom, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli led a prayer ceremony over the body of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in Jamkaran Mosque, and then a funeral procession of millions was held from Jamkaran Mosque to the shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (PBUH).

 

According to Mehr, Ayatollah Seyyed Mustafa Khamenei, the eldest son of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Masoud Pezzekian, and Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, the President and Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, will also go to Najaf and Karbala and will attend the funeral procession of the martyred leader of the nation in Iraq.
