Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)-International Service: Arsenio Dominguez, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), issued a statement on Wednesday that about 6,000 seafarers are still stranded and in a state of uncertainty in the Persian Gulf.
Calling for “maximum restraint and a reduction in tensions,” he condemned the attacks on several ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz over the past two days, saying that these attacks have seriously endangered the lives of civilian seafarers.
