The last farewell of the martyred leader of the revolution in the holy Mashhad; a farewell that will never be forgotten

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Holy Mashhad: Following the farewell of millions of people of Islamic Iran in Tehran to the holy body of the leader of the martyrs of the revolution and the presence of millions of Iraqi people in the cities of Najaf and Karbala, the holy body of the "Mr. Martyr of Iran" arrived at the Mashhad airport a few minutes ago so that the martyred leader can rest forever in the holy shrine of the Third Imam Reza (AS).

 

Mourners from various provinces, especially the southern, eastern and western provinces of Iran, as well as Afghan citizens, have traveled to the holy city of Mashhad for this spiritual ceremony, which will begin at 2:00 PM today (Thursday, July 8) from Imam Reza (AS) Street, to accompany and bury the "Mr. Martyr of Iran" forever to his eternal tomb in the Shams al-Shammous Shrine.

 

The people of Mashhad and pilgrims entered Imam Reza (AS) Street last night, and their eyes were fixed on the road; the arrival of the body that people have come to pay their last respects and farewell with all their might. A farewell that will undoubtedly remain eternal in the history of Mashhad and in the memory of the Iranian nation.

 

According to reports from news sources and social networks, the streets leading to the holy shrine of Razavi have been filled with mourners since the early hours of this morning, waving black and red flags, bidding their last farewell to the martyr leader. Images and videos published on social media show that millions of people are present on the funeral route and the atmosphere of holy Mashhad is filled with sadness and love.

 

It is worth noting that after the holy body enters Mashhad, the funeral ceremony will be held on Imam Reza (AS) Street towards the Holy Shrine.

 

According to political and religious experts, the fact that millions of people bid farewell to the martyred leader in Mashhad, after Tehran, Qom, Najaf and Karbala, shows the greatness and depth of the devotion of the Iranian nation and the Islamic world to this great figure.
