More than 10 million people attended the funeral of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: Ehsan Al-Awadi, Director of the Office of the Iraqi Prime Minister and Head of the Supreme Organizing Committee for the Funeral of the Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, announced the attendance of more than 10 million people at the ceremony.

 

Referring to the widespread reception of the Iraqi people for the ceremony, Al-Awadi announced that millions of Iraqi citizens and pilgrims from different countries attended the funeral of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution.

 

According to him, the funeral was held with the broad participation of the people and in coordination with the Iraqi government and security institutions, and its process continued in an orderly and peaceful atmosphere.

 

The ceremony was held in the holy cities of Najaf and Karbala and, according to organizing officials, is considered one of the largest public gatherings in the country.
